Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Top Tier Chauffeur Services does not sell your personal information. We have never sold customer data and we do not intend to.
There is one thing worth being precise about. This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, the definition of "sharing" is broad enough that analytics of this kind can fall inside it, depending on how it is configured. We are not going to argue the point with you. If you would rather it did not happen, turn it off.
The button below opens your cookie preferences. Switch off Analytics and save. That immediately stops analytics collection on this browser, clears the analytics cookies already stored, and tells Google not to store analytics data for you.
What This Choice Covers
Your preference is stored in this browser, on this device. If you use a different browser, a different device, or clear your site data, set it again there.
Opting out does not affect the cookies this site needs in order to work, and it does not affect the information you hand us directly when you book a ride. We need your name, phone number, pickup details and trip dates to run the trip. Those are covered by our Privacy Policy.
Your Other California Rights
California residents can also ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold. The categories of personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, and why we have it.
- Correct it. Fix anything inaccurate.
- Delete it. Remove your personal information, except where we are required to keep records of a completed booking.
- Not be treated differently. Exercising any of these rights will never change your price or your service.
To make a request, email info@toptierchauffeurservices.com or call 832-993-4826. We will confirm your request within 10 business days and answer it within 45 days. We may need to verify who you are first, which usually means confirming details of a booking you made with us.
Common Questions
Do I have to live in California to use this?
No. The legal right comes from California law, but the opt-out switch works for anyone, anywhere. We are not going to check where you live before honoring it.
How do I know the opt-out worked?
Reopen your privacy choices at any time and the Analytics switch will still be off. Behind the scenes, saving with it off deletes the analytics cookies already on your device and tells Google not to store analytics data for this browser.
Will opting out break the booking form?
No. The booking form and everything else on the site keep working. Analytics is measurement, not function.
Does opting out delete my booking details?
No, and it is not meant to. Those are two different things. This switch controls website analytics. If you want the information you gave us when booking removed, that is a deletion request, and it is covered in the section above.
Why not just turn analytics off for everyone?
Because it tells us which pages people find useful and which ones waste their time, and that is how the site gets better. It is aggregate traffic data, not a profile of you. If you would rather not be counted, the switch above is there for exactly that.
