The hard part is never the venue

Birthday groups fall apart in the gaps. Ten people agree to meet somewhere, four arrive late, two cannot find parking, and the reservation is held for twenty minutes. Putting the group in one vehicle removes most of that.

It also means the person whose birthday it is stops being the coordinator for the evening, which is usually the actual gift.

Multiple pickups are expected

Guests are rarely in one place. Send us the addresses and we will sequence the route so the vehicle is not doubling back across town. A useful rule: the further apart the pickups, the earlier the first one has to be, so send us the list early enough that we can tell you what time the run has to start.

Milestone birthdays get planned differently

A sixteenth, a twenty-first, a fiftieth and a surprise party for a parent are four different jobs.

• Sweet sixteen: parents usually want a fixed itinerary and a call when the group is dropped home
• Twenty-first: the return leg matters more than the outbound one, so we hold the vehicle
• Milestone adult birthdays: often a dinner and a second venue, with a quiet vehicle in between
• Surprise parties: we can stage the pickup so the guest of honour is collected last

Practical notes

Tell us if minors are traveling without a parent, because we will confirm the drop-off arrangement with whoever booked. Car seats are available on request. If the group wants music, say so, and if a parent wants a text when everyone is home, we will send it.
