It is almost never the couple's car

The couple's vehicle is the one everybody plans and the one that rarely causes a problem. What runs late is the wedding party in the morning, the grandparents between ceremony and reception, and the guests at the end of the night.

So we plan those three first and treat the couple's car as the easy part of the day.

The three legs worth paying attention to

• Morning: the party to the venue, which slips because hair and makeup always slip. Build in a buffer.
• Between venues: the gap where older guests and anyone without a car get stranded if nobody planned a shuttle.
• End of night: the leg most often left to chance, and the one where guests have been drinking.

A shuttle running a loop between the reception and one or two hotels solves the third one and is usually cheaper than people expect, because it is one vehicle doing repeat runs rather than a fleet sitting idle.

We coordinate with your planner, not around them

If you have a planner or a venue coordinator, put us in touch and we will take the timings from them. If you do not, we will ask for the ceremony time, the reception end time, the addresses, and who is traveling in which leg, then send the schedule back for you to check.

Getting that confirmed a week out matters more than anything else we do. Nobody should be reading a transport schedule for the first time on the morning.

Weather and overruns

Houston in summer is not a place to leave a wedding party waiting outside, and receptions run over more often than they run early. Tell us if the venue has a hard end time. If it does not, holding the vehicle rather than booking a fixed pickup is usually the cheaper mistake to avoid.
